The IPR Exchange
 
The IPR Exchange will combine standard e‐commerce capabilities with a variety of innovative market specific features to introduce the first automated market for intellectual property rights. Targeted Global IPR Exchange's Members include large corporate patent portfolio owners seeking ways to reach and service smaller licensee; smaller corporate, or individual patent holders without dedicated IP licensing organizations; universities seeing to market large patent portfolios; and trade organizations seeking more efficient means to license essential IP to the organizations members.
 
Institutes and individuals will use the exchange to buy and sell IPR shares, much as they would in a normal fund market. Publicly traded IPRs are expected to come from India’s emerging industries, including the cultural sector. It is operated and supported by MSME Ministry, GOI and is the first of its kind in India and is considered to be a "financial innovation"

FISME IPR exchange
 
The exchange will feature IPR funds, investor unions, an examination and verification committee, a legal affairs commission and a supervisory commission in the near future, according to exchange authorities.
